Volunteers are at the core of the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center’s operation and a vital component to the overall success of this facility. Each and every Strand-Capitol volunteer offers their own individual contribution to the center whether they are assisting patrons to their seats, serving refreshments, folding letters, making copies or offering a “Welcome” and a smile. But at the heart of every Strand-Capitol volunteer is one common trait: a passion for the arts in the community.

Please check our complete Wish List of items and services needed to help keep the Strand-Capitol shining. Your donation will help reduce overhead and contribute to a more efficient and effective organization that can concentrate on bringing the best of arts and entertainment to the region.

Office Equipment & Supplies:

– Flat file to hold posters, prints, etc
– Electric stapler
– Cross-cut paper shredder (heavy duty)
– Computer Equipment - scanner, monitors, CPUs, printers
– Paper for copier & laser printers (8 1⁄2" x 11")

– Stamps (41 cent and 26 cent)

House & Production Needs:
– Umbrella racks
– Upright Coolers on wheels (rectangular)
– Cart to transport items around the building
– Six (6) light-weight 2-way radios for front-of-house staff
– Six (6) 2-way radio head sets with comfortable over-the-ear listening device

Facility Needs:
– Sidewalk ice melt
– Dishwashers
