| Make New Friends, Keep the Old The Friends of the Strand-Capitol are a volunteer auxiliary group that support the Center through various fundraising events. The Strand-Capitol could not exist without the assistance of many volunteers. The funds raised by the Friends provide much-needed support to operate efficiently. Friends are KEY to keeping the doors of the theaters open and the curtains up! Get involved! Be our Friend and help support York’s Cultural Treasure. |

| Mission: To have fun volunteering while raising funds and adding friends for the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center. Membership Dues: Active - $20 per year Supporting - $25 per year Activities & Committees Pre-Show Catered Dinners in Studio Arrange and host pre-show dinners. Chef’s Back Door Series Arrange annual series of dine-out fundraisers at area restaurants. Stages of Wine Series Arrange series of catered wine-pairing meals on the Strand stage. Deck the Halls Decorate and un-decorate the Center for the holidays. Raffle for Season Tickets Conduct a raffle for season tickets to the following season. Bus Trips Arrange chartered bus trips to popular performances in NYC, Philadelphia, Baltimore, or Washington. Theater Tours Give tours to visitors. Senior Citizen Outreach Transport seniors to the theater. |
