Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center : Schooltime

Education is a large part of what the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center brings to the community. The Strand-Capitol’s Schooltime Series showcases performances by national touring companies during the school day and may also include masterclasses and workshops. With this increasingly popular series, the Strand-Capitol strives to entertain, educate and expose today’s youth to the magical world of performing arts. Study after study continues to underscore the importance of the performing arts as part of childhood development. The Schooltime Series was created to give children the opportunity to experience the magic and wonder of live theater and performing arts.

Additionally, the Strand-Capitol offers various educational opportunities throughout the season, from master classes to workshops, to opportunities to observe dress rehearsals. Please check back for educational opportunities.
