At noon on the day of a Strand-Capitol performance, Rush tickets for that evening’s show may be available to full-time students (25 years old or younger) with proper validations (see below) on a first come, first served basis.
• To determine availability of Rush tickets, call the Ticket Center at 717-846-1111 or stop by 50 N. George Street after noon on the day of the performance.
• All Rush tickets are $20 CASH ONLY. Credit cards, debit cards, and personal checks will not be accepted.
• Rush tickets may be purchased only at the Strand-Capitol Ticket Center, 50 N. George Street, in person. Rush tickets are not available for purchase online or via phone.
• Proof of full-time student status and age are required to purchase Rush tickets. Either a current high school ID or a full-time college ID and a driver’s license are required. Rush tickets are available ONLY to full-time students 25 years old or younger.

The Strand lobby opens 1 1/2 hours before live performances (ex. 6:00pm for a 7:30pm show) with full beverage bar and concession services at Ovations located in the lobby.
Auditorium opens 30 minutes prior to performance or at discretion of production company or Strand-Capitol House Manager.
ServicesAssisted listening systems for the Strand Theatre are available for patrons at Ovations concessions bar in the lobby. Every effort will be made to provide sign language interpretation for patrons when requested in advance. ADA compliant seating is available. Please notify Ticket Center of needs when purchasing tickets.
– All seating is reserved unless otherwise indicated and is subject to availability.
– Same seating cannot be guaranteed for every show.
– If tickets are unable to be used, please consider donating them back for resale at least 48 hours prior to performance for possible resale.
– Late seating is strictly at the discretion of house management. Patrons may not be able to sit in original reserved seats if arriving late.
– Everyone in attendance must have a ticket, regardless of age. A responsible adult must accompany children, handicapped and infirm at all times.
– In consideration of others, it is not recommended to bring infants and toddlers three years of age and younger to any performance.
– Cell phones, beepers and pagers must be turned OFF before the performance begins.
– Unauthorized photography of any kind (flash, non-flash, video, digital, etc.) and recording of any kind are strictly prohibited during any performance unless a public announcement is made to the contrary. Patrons failing to adhere to this policy risk confiscation of equipment and penalties for copyright infringement.
– Proof of age is required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
– No food and drink except water are allowed in the Strand Theatre. However, concessions purchased in the Capitol Theatre may be consumed in the Capitol auditorium.
